Mohashoshan, The conceptual project features a total of 17 tracks, spread across two discs. The first disc, “Mohashoshan 1”, includes nine songs, while the second, “Mohashoshan 2”, contains eight songs. The album was released on Thursday evening (January 8) at 8pm Bangladesh time through the band’s official YouTube channel and is now available on Spotify and other major international digital streaming platforms. Speaking about the narrative of the new conceptual album, the band’s vocalist and lyricist, Probar Ripon said the story is a continuation of their earlier work. “In our first album, the central character died through the song ‘Epitaph’. ‘Mohashoshan’ marks that character’s resurrection. This time, the character is named Droho. In this album, too, he dies, but perhaps he will be reborn again in the next album. This time, Droho declares rebellion against humanity itself. The album tells a story of revenge against mankind. To fully grasp the narrative, one needs to listen to the entire album in one go—all 1 hour and 52 minutes of it,” he said.
