Sudden Light's third studio album, named Milijards Vasaru (A Billion Summers) was released on May 13, 2022. It is classified as an alternative rock record, infused with pop elements. The lead single, Klusumi, was released on April 2021, which were followed up by three other singles, namely, Siltas vasaras ēnā, Laternas, and Pāris neuzņemtu foto. Elektriskā gaisma was also released as a single in 2020, but it wasn't affiliated with the album till release. The album received widespread acclaim, and was nominated for best pop record in Zelta Mikrofons 2023. A tour, which is named the same as the album, was held in promotion of the album, with the first night held at September 17, 2022 in Jelgava, and the final night held at October 8, 2022 in Riga.
