The debut EP by Florida alternative band Canzonette, Middleman was released on 20 November 2015. The album was originally slated for a 13 November release date, but was pushed back in light of the terrorist attacks in Paris on that day. Middleman was recorded between February and September of 2015 at Clear Track Studios in Clearwater, Florida, and was produced by Spencer Bradham (Tides of Man). Mike Johnson mixed the record. The album showcases a pop and post rock inspired indie rock sound featuring double lead vocals and guitar-heavy songwriting.
