Mr. Gold (WARLOCK) Crystal Viper frontwoman Marta Gabriel goes it alone on this solo outing featuring her covers of classic metal tracks from great female singers. Doing a covers album is always risky, because, let’s face it, you’ve heard the original version, and chances are we usually consider it the “best” version. This is especially true when you’re doing an album of songs by some of the strongest and most well-known female singers in metal, hence the name of this album, “Metal Queens”.
