Austin producer Gary Powell started a record company called Miramuse in 2003. Gary asked if Larry would be interested in recording a CD for his new record company and let Larry retain all rights to the CD for his record company SPACEMUSIC.COM. Larry said yes and the result is the production of this CD... "Merry Larry Christmas". Larry's Father and Mother also played a huge role in inspiring him to do this project. His Dad had always wanted a CD of him playing guitar for him to listen to. (Lefty Seyer loves Chet Atkins and guitar music). So this project is an album of nothing but guitars. Only 3 Instruments were used to make this CD... * (1) Takamine Acoustic Guitar * (1) Yamaha Gut String Guitar * (1) Armstrong Baritone Guitar Only one (1) pass per instrument was made... In other words, Larry played the rhythm acoustic part once, then he played the Baritone guitar part once, then he played the Gut String guitar part once. The arrangements were made WHILE he was recording the first pass of the first guitar... In other words, 'on the fly' as he was inspired to play. The project was Recorded and Mixed entirely in NUENDO (tm) and was recorded by Gary Powell & Larry's niece Taylor Seyer. It was mixed and mastered it totally 'in the box' using Nuendo and Samplitude. The project emerges from a personal gesture—honoring a father's love of guitar masters like Chet Atkins—yet transcends mere sentimentality through its focused craft. By stripping away commercial expectations around Christmas recordings, the album asks what the guitar alone can communicate about warmth, memory, and celebration. It represents a thoughtful collaboration between artist and producer, offering something genuinely distinct in an
