Not to be confused with the Nicaraguan Reggae band, Soul Vibrations Mermaid Sunshine is Jarrod Thomas on Drums, Jim Spaulding on Guitar, Steve Reed on Bass and Vocals and Jack Reed on Guitar and Vocals. Recorded at insight sound studios in Colorado in the fall of 2005. 15 tracks with reggae rock and more. Jarrod and Jack were born at the same hospital in Fort collins Co hours apart. Then later met while playing competitive soccer. Jim and Jarrod inseparable best friends at the time. Steve and Jack are brothers. After indulging in various adult substances and tearing up the local town with high speed car chases and what not, it was time to make some music. This is there first shot at a big production. After this album was recorded Jack went solo with "Soul Vibes" recording 3 albums to date "Jack Reeds Guns", "Wave" and a collaboration with Carl Reed called "vitamin Time." Jack Reed also wrote and recorded with Sadhu and released Hunt the Wumpus. Steve Reed and Jack Reed played in Velvet Brown and released Coolest Love. Jack Reed also has a solo album of folk love songs called "Almost Home' under the name Sloppy Genius.
