"Mercury Mountain" is the debut album from Riff Cannon, which has been described as "highly enjoyable and varied... tracks cover styles from bluesy fuzzy stoner to heavy doom to space rock." It was recorded and mixed by the band in their studio and was mastered by Nick Zampieollo (Torche, Cave-In, Doom Riders). The album is comprised of several up-tempo rockers, a few slow and sludgy, a 9-plus minute instrumental homage to early Pink Floyd, plus it features artwork by Santos (High On Fire, Neurosis - http://www.myspace.com/outofspite) and was released independently by the band.
