Marijn is the twelfth studio album by Thor Kissing. It was announced on October 7, 2021 along with the release of lead single Boezemvrienden, and was released on October 22, 2021 via Kissing's own label Petrol Candy Records. The album was written and recorded within a week, in the wake of Kissing's best friend Marijn Beijer's tragic suicide which he committed on September 26, 2021, and the lyrics are all about Beijer's passing, and memories of his life. In promotion of the album, Kissing gave away the first 25 copies of the CD for free. A deluxe edition of the album was announced on December 6, 2021 and was released on December 12, 2021, as a birthday present to Marijn Beijer's younger brother Levi who turned 19 that day.
