Allan Thomas' fourth studio album 'Making Up For Lost Time' features ten songs ranging through rock, blues, jazz, singer-songwriter, and his own groove usually referred to as "Rhythm and Beach". With the help of his usual cast of stellar players this record also features Graham Nash on backing vocals on the 1st track 'Ray Of Hope'. The bass is played by James Taylor's bassist Jimmy Johnson, with the drummer of Chicago, Tris Imboden, playing drums throughout. Recorded almost entirely on the Island of Kauai's north shore. Also featuring keyboards by Michael Ruff (Bonnie Raitt, David Sanborn), Slide guitar by Ken Emerson (Donald Fagen, Todd Rundgren), harmonica by JP Allen, backing vocals by Anjela Rose, and electric guitars by Bryan Kessler and Kirk Smart.
