With their last album "Lucent Touch" Jazzamor presents their new sound. Cool and minimalistic at the same time. The fifth album – "Lucent Touch" – is distinctly more jazzy. Bossa Nova steps back and lets Jazz have more leeway. Arrangements are more concentrated on classic jazz instruments, soloists get more room and there is always the search for new soundscapes. Even after five releases it is still difficult to classify the style of Jazzamor. On fifteen tracks Jazz, Electro and Bossa Nova are in a constant exchange. "Lucent Touch" again stands for a unique style. The texts of "Lucent Touch" are marked by many kinds of personal experiences. Life and death, grief and joy - this all sometimes comes together in such a narrow way. This impression characterize the new songs. Many of the songs were created in true team work directly in the studio. Both musicians – Bettina and Roland – were directly involved in all developmental processes, where it sound, text or production. However, each had their own "priorities“. While Bettina Ventzki-Mischke is the one who gives a soul to the texts, Roland Grosch is creator of the music and the sound designer. He is master of the minimalist arrangements and electronic sounds, he frames the catchy melodies with his typical grace notes.
