LSD is the sixth studio album by Cardiacs. It was originally set to be released somewhere in 2008, but due to frontman Tim Smith's illness he got after an unfortunate cardiac arrest in early 2008, the album was shelved. However, three songs off the album - Ditzy Scene, Gen and Made All Up - were already released in 2007 as the Ditzy Scene EP. Smith sadly passed away on July 21st, 2020. On September 1st, 2020, The Alphabet Business Concern released one more single that was originally intended for but eventually not included with the LSD album, titled Vermin Mangle. On July 31st, 2025, LSD was properly announced to be released on September 19th, 2025, with single Woodeneye played on BBC6 as promotion.
