Originally released in December, 2006, Joshua Peterson has re-released his epic album of love songs, aptly titled Lovesongs. The album marked a noticeable change in Joshua's music, as evidenced by previous albums, but almost all Electronic influences were erased from this Contemporary Instrumental release. The album spawned 6 Top 10 songs on CNET's Download.com Instrumental Pop Chart, and was revered as one of the best independent releases of 2006. The album propelled Joshua into the Top 10 Audience Favorite chart and also provided him with a podium to spread a message that he feels is, "absent from so many relationships today".
