love and other disasters is the debut studio album by Norwegian singer iris, released on June 4, 2021 through GEMS and Warner Music Norway. The album's lead single, lavender and heaven, was released on November 6, 2020. In an article by The Line of Best Fit the album title was announced. voodoo voodoo, a collaboration between iris and SKAAR, was released on January 29, 2021 as the second single. lovemark (featuring Jazmine Flowers), lovemark pt. II, and crawl for me followed on March 12, 2021. The fourth single, to be mine (is to lose your mind), was released on April 23, 2021 and was revealed to be the last single to be released before the album's release via iris' Instagram. On May 8, 2021, iris unveiled the cover, name, release date for love and other disasters via Instagram. The album's official tracklist was announced on May 20, 2021 on Instagram as well.
