Released September 30th, 2021, Loner is the first full-length project by hobbyist musician fzx. Generally fairly left-field and amateur, Loner pulls from a varied range of sources in its sound, dabbling in IDM, breakbeats, ambient, acoustic, modern-classical, noise, and other ventures. Samples throughout the album include the rants of Christian Weston Chandler, the vague conversation from Omegle chats and Discord calls, and the sound effects from such videogames as Counter-Strike 1.6, Death Forest and Rocket League. The project was first released through SoundCloud and YouTube before seeing a release on all major streaming platforms two years later.
