Live at Womb was recorded on October 25th 2008 at The Britain's Protection, Manchester and was Gary Fisher's first ever public live performance as part of 'Womb' an event of experimental music curated by Blood Moon. The set consisted of a continuous live, improvised composition lasting around 20 minutes. The piece starts with loops of electric guitar strings being struck, rubbed and scraped with various objects including a metal goblet, drumstick and a fork lodged between the strings and bounced up and down. In the second half a metal tray and drumhead amplified with contact mics are used with a drumstick, plastic bags, wallpaper scraper, screwdriver and workshop brush. the looping process creates a gradually louder hail of feedback that in the end drops out to reveal the sound of a German language tape playing through the guitar pickup.
