On 3rd April 2011 (Mothering Sunday), Fran Smith opened for the Karine Polwart Trio before a sold-out audience of 400 people in Hall Two at The Sage Gateshead. This is the recording of her performance, exactly as it was heard by the audience that night. She performed five of her own original songs and played a Steinway grand piano.
