The original line-up of multi platinum recording artist Incubus (minus Brandon Boyd and Dirk Lance) get together for a beautiful side project of many proportions. Recorded live at the Roxy Theater in Hollywood, CA in January 2003, true talent shines as Mike Einziger shows versatility leading the pack with funk and bluesy rhythmic guitar lines. Ben Kenney, bassist of The Roots, takes 'low end' on this recording. It truly is a shame these talented artists haven't gotten back together to record since this. Suzy Katayama leads a small string section to add depth to the audible landscapes here. A refreshing appearance by Incubus front man Brandon Boyd can be heard as he performs vocals to Incubus' 'Certain Shade of Green' but to a mellow lounge vibe. TLC are a talented bunch of openminded musicians, and this album is ever lacking on the credibility it deserves by music listeners.
