"Literalmente Devaneios" is the third studio album by Lou Garcia, released on October 17, 2025, marking her second project under Universal Music Brasil. Developed during a songwriting camp in Rio de Janeiro, the project originated from a period following the end of a relationship, which informed the album’s central theme of duality between reality and imagination. The title combines opposing concepts—“literal” and “daydreams”—to reflect the coexistence of concrete feelings and abstract perceptions across its 14 tracks. Musically, the album expands on the synth-pop foundation of her previous release "KARUMA" (2023), incorporating elements of electronic pop, alternative R&B, indie pop, and Brazilian genres such as funk and piseiro, with production contributions from Donatto, Iuri Rio Branco, Kassin, and others. Notable tracks include "Sinais," which defined the project’s sonic direction, and "Subconsciente," positioned as a thematic centerpiece. The album also features a sample of "Não Sei Dançar" by Marina Lima in its opening track, "Solidão Com Vista Pro Mar." Upon release, the project was accompanied by a series of visualizers for most tracks. The album explores emotional contradiction, particularly the tension between expression and internal feeling, and marks a shift toward a more collaborative and sonically diverse phase in Lou Garcia’s career.
