One could say Continuum is one more band in the Progressive heavy-metal genre, a musical sphere surrounded with excellent artists. But that French group has the potentiality to go straight to the top. Like the band's musical influences, including Andromeda or Pain of Salvation, Continuum composes and plays a violent and wild music, mixing aggressive riffs and rhythms with sophisticated structures and symphonic keyboards parts. It's a real pleasure to hear the musical fights between guitars and keyboards, enhanced by a powerful and frantic drumming. First album by the band, "Lifeless Ocean" (Musea Parallèle, 2009) impresses the listener with intense and dark atmospheres, and enough power to wake the dead.
