Anette Askvik has been described as «a Norwegian treasure who sings like an angel. Her songs will haunt you after only one listen.» Anette weaves mysterious melodies that are a curious blend of pop, rock, jazz, folk, electronica, and classical music. On "Liberty" she collaborated with producer and pianist Øystein Sevåg, Audun Erlinen on bass, Rune Arnesen on drums, Petter Wettre on saxophone, the string quartet Katharsis among others. Some say her voice is similar to the late Norwegian singer Radka Toneff. She is about to record her second album, which will be released in spring 2014.
