Legends is the first full CD by Sons Of Lioth, on sale since December 5th 2009. It's an independent release, compiled from tracks the Sons composed during the last 3 years. Some of the tracks (Last Unicorn, Ring the bells and Industry of Steel were written shortly after the release of their first demo CD: Destination earth, while others have been put together mostly while doing the bulk of the recordings in 2008 (in La Chapelle studios, BE). The album follows the path of Destination Earth, with lyrical topics bending a bit more towards science fiction, although fantasy and myth are also in the main themes. They also introduced the use of synth's in some of the tracks (Dr. Brian, Ring the bells, (Inside the) Leprechaun and Homeland). But the level of guitar solo's and spectacular rift remains high enough to keep the recognisable style of the band. The release event Legendary Tour @ JH 't Verschil was a great succes, the venue filled with an enthusiastic crowd.
