Peter Howell began his music career in the 1960's and, in 1975 began his work with Dr Who. His first associations with the programme came in the form of incidental music but his biggest impact was his reworking of the theme tune in 1980. A couple of versions written by Peter Howell were used up to 1986 where a new producer decided to bring in a different composer. The most prominent and inspiring piece of work done as a solo project is the album Legend. Golden Space is in a class of its own with uplifting and haunting melodies taking you on a mystical journey. This track manages to be relaxing whilst at the same time inducing a 'feel good' factor' into the music.
