Leaving Planet Earth is the third official recording of a North-Bohemian Yogi experimenting somewhere between pseudo-acoustic and electronic music. Here, Yogi Rulez continues to develop his intimate musical world. Enchanted by the magic of art, which provides much-needed food for the soul, he draws attention to the problems of today's world, which he sees precisely in the mental decline of contemporary civilization. All five tracks are the work of Stanislav Puffler, who also took care of the mix of the recording. Finalization of the sound was entrusted to the mastering studio Audio Animals in Great Britain. The beautiful cover art was created by illustrator and graphic artist Petr Hejda (CZ). The EP opens with the song Cold Trip, which is a winter trip to a new space-time. A track full of cool analog synthesizers is followed by a vocoder-driven vocal. Everything progresses into an icy refreshing but still very soulful futuristic passage. Next comes the dark breakbeat stuff of House of the Waving Pines, which is the traditional Japanese school of Shotokan Ryu and the style of karate, whose forefather is sensei Gichin Funakoshi. The title track Leaving Planet Earth combines house music with Jamaican dub and Bristol triphop. However, still with a signature sound that does not destroy the concept of the sound-painting world of Yogi Rulez.
