Lay it down was recorded at Wrightway Studios on august 3, 2001 and released around sept 5th 2001 on the The Tribe Ltd label. The vocals were performed by Nicole Adema in one take. If you listen closely, you can hear a cell phone ringing in the background. "Lay It Down" was very well received in the dance world. It received regular spins by dj's such as Sasha, John Digweed and Paul Oakenfold. The track (and it's remixes) were also prominently featured in the first season of MTV's show "Punk'd" Lay It Down Was created in Propellerhead Software's Reason 1.0 and the vocals were recorded in Steinberg's Nuendo.
