Album
Last Time Around is the third and final studio album by Buffalo Springfield, released in 1968. Despite being considered a farewell record, the band had already begun to fall apart during its recording, with members pursuing separate musical directions. The album blends elements of folk rock, country rock, and psychedelic rock, showcasing the songwriting talents of Stephen Stills, Neil Young, and Richie Furay. Notable tracks include On the Way Home, written by Young, and Kind Woman, a Furay composition that foreshadowed his future work with Poco. While *Last Time Around* lacks the cohesion of their earlier records, it remains a significant document of the band's legacy and a glimpse into the musical paths its members would take after disbanding.
