Released 30 September 2012. The songs were written by Gorik Van Droogenbroeck between 2006 and 2012. Some pieces of music from Gorik's first band, 'Sentience', were used on this album, since Sentience never released anything and Gorik still wanted to do something with these early Sentience songs. This is why some of the music on Kronieken van het Einde was nearly 6 years old. This is Toorn's second concept album. Kronieken van het Einde deals with "the end" in all its possible aspects and interpretations. The intro and outro songs have the same musical base, but greatly differ in style and dynamics. The basic chords, notes and stucture are mostly the same. The same applies for Zomerzonnewende and Winterzonnewende (although its intros are entirely different). Hiaat, being the 5th of 9 songs, is an interlude which serves as a "mirror". Everything was recorded at home by Gorik Van Droogenbroeck. Artwork by Polina Belohvostova.
