Album
SKC, the leading force of drum'n'bass in Budapest, releases his debut album for Klute's Commercial Suicide label. ‘Killing Me Softly’ finally gives SKC (real name Gábor Nagymáthé) the opportunity to show off his rich palette of musical dexterity. One of the most under rated producers in the scene, SKC has releases on Hospital, DSCI4, Obsessions and Nerve. He is also a member of Tactile and Mindscape and is really intelligent too – he’s got a degree in psychology and listens to classical music. The two-part vinyl edition features eight strong tracks aimed at the DJ, broken into two parts to make it easier on the pocket. The CD features 12 tracks (five exclusive) arranged in a fashion to promote comfortable home listening, or in the car if you’d like. When there’s such an ocean of totally shit music flooding every orifice of every musical genre it’s just a total relief to discover that there really is some excellent real music out there.
