Album
"Just Being Myself" is the 16th studio album by pop singer, Dionne Warwick, released in 1973 on Warner Bros. Records. After her main production team Bacharach/David split up, Warwick had to find other producers for the album. She chose Holland, Dozier and Holland to produce the album. The result is an album that blends both Pop and Soul successfully. While the album did not find an audience in either the Pop or R&B markets, it stands as one of the finest albums of her career. The album peaked at #178 on the Billboard 200. Two singles were lifted from the album as singles for radio airplay. The albums' lead single "I Think You Need Love" did not chart. While the second and final single "Just Being Myself" became a minor hit on the R&B Singles chart, peaking at #62. The "Just Being Myself" album was reissued on Compact Disc and MP3 formats on April 4, 2005 on the Rhino/Warner Bros. label.
