This is a different Mike B from the crunk artist. Mike B, Invisible Man, is a soulful work by the New York based guitarist/singer/beatboxer. The tracks are all solo and all live; all guitars vocals and beatbox are performed simultaneously with remarkable technique. Except for the brief appearance of NY rapper GIF on the final track, Mike B performs solo through the entire record. The music draws from hip-hop, jazz, electronic and world influences to create very personal and passionate songs that are deliberately difficult to classify.
