Album
Summary: A sometimes experimental work in progress album, made specifically for release on the internet. Unless otherwise noted in the song tags, the music is released under a Creative Commons Attribution/Non-Commercial license (cc by-nc). More copyright information is provided in the song comment or copyright tags, where applicable. How some of the music was made: The songs were created in a variety of formats, ranging from OpenMPT and Renoise, "retro" tracker editors, to Musagi and LMMS, which are more modern digital audio workstations (DAWs). A few songs were created in the .mid file format and were rendered using software synthesis via programs such as SynthFont or WinGroove. Pirate Rap for example was rendered in WinGroove. When samples or MIDI aren't used, the instruments are usually synthesized. Open source music programs like Musagi, LMMS, or OpenMPT, are used in these cases. In some cases, VSTi patches are used, most notably Prophanity and Oddy-Free(which imitate the sound of the Prophet 5 and Arp Odyssey Mk.2 respectively), as well as Font!, which can load soundfont .SF2 patches. Some songs may use other samples, usually for drums, ordinarily when a soundfont isn't used for them. Drum samples can include the Amen break sample, 80s Roland drum machines, or presets that come with software such as Musagi or LMMS.
