Album
"Instruments of Torture" is the debut studio album by American brutal death metal band Brodequin, released in 2000. Brodequin's lyrical content is heavily influenced by historical accounts of torture and execution. The band's name itself refers to a medieval torture device designed to crush the legs of its victims. Bassist and vocalist Jamie Bailey, a history graduate, draws inspiration from real historical events, providing a gruesome yet educational perspective within the brutal death metal genre.
