This album features two live performances: One from 1990 at the Manchester Royal Exchange Theatre, and the other from 1992 at the Royal Albert Hall. On some tracks ('You Will Be Loved Again', 'Five Room Love Story') Margo's distinctively breathy vocals are accompanied by understated accordion, harmonica or guitar, while on others ('Southern Rain', 'Townes Blues') she calls on the full band, proving there's more to Cowboy Junkies than acoustic intimacy. The compilation features live Cowboy Junkies classics: 'Sun Comes Up It's Tuesday Morning' and 'Black Eyed Man' as well as covers of Robert Johnson's 'Me and the Devil', Bob Dylan's 'If You Gotta Go, Go Now', and a beautiful rendition of the Flying Burrito Brothers' 'Hot Burrito No. 1'.
