Album
In Loving Memory (also known as In Loving Memory Of...) is the first studio album by Canadian rock band Big Wreck, and was released on October 7, 1997. In Loving Memory would be both the band's debut and breakthrough, and would bring three singles: That Song, The Oaf, and Blown Wide Open. However, Canada would see a fourth single release: Under the Lighthouse. While The Oaf would chart well in the US alt-rock charts, That Song and Blown Wide Open would only chart well in Canada. While That Song had made it onto one of the US charts, Blown Wide Open had completely failed to chart in the US altogether. The Oaf would be the album's best charting single in both Canada and the US, with the highest positions being #3 in Canada, and #9 in the US. In 2018, Big Wreck would go on tour to celebrate 20 years of In Loving Memory, missing the actual 20 year date by a year. The tour would lead to a reissue of the album, and would see the album's first vinyl pressing, and new artwork to accompany it.
