LA, CA DEC, 2010 THIS IS TOM NOBLE'S DEBUT E.P. of original recordings. All material is played live by T Noble himself. This is a solid group of songs highlighting the essence of basement disco funk and synth soul. Taken from the perspective of what wicked black radio slow jams can sound like through the low fidelty convention of a one man band recording in a living room. Released by Clone Records as perhaps disco or nu disco, or some similar tag, the music on this EP can hardly be likened to modern electronic music. It really is a collection of instrumental soul songs which highlight the odd uses of synth bass, rugged drum machine programming, misuse of drums culled from Ebay soundclips and perhaps the recreation of a loose disco groove that didn't make the charts in 1981. This Tom Noble is not related to the electronic music artist with the same name. Tom Noble resides in Los Angeles. He is currently working on new material to be released, as well as his newest label, Superior Elevation records.
