The Hamiltons are a musical project put together by Robert Hamilton as an outlet to feature original songs that were wrote by and with the late great Cranford Hamilton Nix (Jan 17th 1969-March 12th 2002). The music takes us back to a time when rock n roll was fun, exciting, raw & straightforward. No gimmicks, no costumes, no clowns, no bullshit. Electric & Acoustic songs about real life, real heart-brake and real emotions wrapped up in sing-a-long melodies that harken back to when music was magical and authentic. Taking the best of The Rolling Stones, Ramones, Johnny Cash, & Hanoi Rocks musically, and lyrically recalling some of the best beat poets of days gone by, you have The Hamiltons debut CD: In Cranford We Trust.
