In Control is the debut studio album of Dutch singer EliZe, which was first released on 6 October 2006 via CMM Music. It was released two years after her debut single “Shake”. The album includes EliZe her biggest hit to date “Automatic”, which became a Top 10-hit in the Netherlands and was very popular in clubs. The record was further promoted with the popular “Into Your System” and four music videos. The album In Control received mixed to negative reviews from critics, with many being disappointed in the lack of fresh material from the singer. It debuted and peaked at #66 on the Dutch Album Top 100. Following the release of In Control, EliZe received a nomination for Best Female Artist Nationally at the TMF Awards in 2006.
