Sonoran Desert indie rock band band Natural Flavors presents their debut 14 track album In Bloom. Entirely written, recorded, and produced by the band, the album irradiates the heat of the Arizona summer through a genre melting, vibey mixture of instrumentals and vocals. The band consists of local Arizona musicians Ryan Kemmer (Drums, Vocals), Hunter Langenhorst (Keys, Vocals), Andrew Lineweaver (Guitar, Vocals), Sean Rollins (Guitar, Vocals), and Josh Stovall (Bass, Percussion, Vocals), many of whom have been performing in the local music scene for multiple years. Developed over multiple years of recording and performing, In Bloom takes a listener on a journey through summer anthems, relationships, and existentialism. The album opens up with the band’s first recorded song, “Blue”, a jazzy, soulful song about the extreme highs and lows of living. As the album evolves the listener gets hit with the albums debut single, “RIP”, an alternative rock song about the ambivalent emotions of a breakup. Throughout the album, each song has a completely different feel and genre, ranging from indie rock to latin jazz. The band eggs on the listener from top to finish, making them wonder what will happen next. Finally, the album ends with “Falling Down”, a funky song about love, and “Shoes”, a vibey song about the journey of life.
