"In a Perfect World" is Ye's upcoming debut album under the Ye alias after abandoning "Kanye West" following the release of Vultures 2. This album is the successor to the unreleased album, "CUCK", which was leaked in May 2025. This album currently does not have a set release date, but it is anticipated to be released alongside "Bully", another upcoming project by Ye. On May 20th 2025, the song "WW3", being one of the singles released for "CUCK" was removed from all streaming services following the leaking incident, and Ye claiming that he was "done with antisemitism" on a statement made on May 22nd. He later reuploaded the song with a censored cover art and lyrics. On May 31st, the song "HH" received the same treatment, retitled to "Hallelujah" and having significant lyric changes and censorship. On June 22nd, Ye posted on Twitter saying he's changing the name of "CUCK" (or "CUKKK") to "In a Perfect World". Dave Blunts, a frequent collaborator and the executive producer of "CUCK", also updated captions of images of him and Ye together on Instagram to reflect this name change. On July 12th, songs "WW3" and "Hallelujah" were played, allegedly without Ye's consent, at a concert in Shangai according to a post made by his team on Xiaohungshu (Rednote), along with songs from his album "Bully", and the song, "Alive", featuring YoungBoy Never Broke Again.
