With her debut album "Impronunciable", which consists of original compositions, Ares picks up the words of her late grandfather, who had written about life, relationships and death with images of nature. The songwriter also takes us into her dream world and lets us share her philosophical thoughts. The album is rounded off by the musical setting of 3 poems that the artist grew up with, as well as a Hebrew composition by the Israeli accordionist Ira Shiran, the arranger of the album. So that listeners who do not speak Spanish, Catalan or Hebrew can also understand what the songs are about, all the lyrics are available in German on her website aresgratal.com/liedtexte. The Catalan philosopher Ramon Camats writes in the foreword to the album: "A record is like a portrait in oil. We only see the last brushstroke and often forget that the previous layers, plus the binder, the fabric and the frame, also belong to the painting. Ares conveys all this simultaneously to those who know how to observe." User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
