Immovable Feet is the recorded debut of the 5-piece Land Lovers line-up put together after the completion of the 2008 album Romance Romance by founding member Padraig Cooney. Its six tracks expand on the jangly synth-buffered pop of the album to take in some influence from Brill Building balladry (Immovable Feet), morose Americana (Cloudy Girl) and "futureproofed folk-rock" (their own term, Paddy Works the Maglev).
