For Glory and Empire's first full-length album, Illusions, is a concept album based on the theme of illusions. Vocalist Ari Oh says of the album, "The album is a comprehensive look at the concept of illusions- how they affect our daily lives, how they affect our relationships with others, and how they affect our selves". It was recorded and produced by Thomas Miller, the band's guitar player. It was released in late June of 2009.
