Hot City is the second studio album by Bonnie McKee, released on May 31, 2024. The album title and fall release were confirmed through an interview with Rolling Stone on June 28, 2023. The album includes several re-recorded versions of songs McKee recorded under the Epic Records label through 2011 to 2014. On June 6, 2023, McKee teased the upcoming project through a promo trailer via YouTube, revealing several titles of songs she had recorded under the Epic Records label. Re-recordings of “Don’t Get Mad, Get Famous”, “I Wanna Fuckin' Call You”, “Slay”, “Hot City”, “Rewind Your Heart”, “Forever 21”, “Everything Back But You” were confirmed for the album on Instagram live on June 28, 2023. “Jenny’s Got a Boyfriend” and new track “Snatched” were confirmed through the Rolling Stone interview on June 28, 2023.
