about this album

Hope Springs EP is the début release from North London based duo Capulets. The EP was released for download worldwide on 7th November 2009 on the band's own label, Apocalypso Records. It is available from most of the major online retailers, such as iTunes, Amazon and 7digital, with limited edition physical copies available from live shows and by request from the official Capulets website. Hope Springs EP showcases three of Capulets' most enigmatic and original songs. Title track Hope Springs is a Christiano-fascist psycho-cowboy stomp lyrically based on an article about far-right Christian indoctrination techniques in the US. This is followed by the Kraftwerk-tinged existential despair-pop of second track Valley and finishes with the noise rock of final track Pay Mr Clean Cut; a song about the conspiracy that Paul McCartney is actually dead, told entirely using anagrams. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
