June 2009 3 tracks released as a tour EP "Holy Mountain, the guitar and drums duo, have just released a simple beast of an EP that snots out scuzz-riff instrumentals. The opening feedback of first track ..Jesus.. spills over into a rabid stomp, that throws itself into a swift, stomach-punch ending. Although, it gets a bit more sludgy and brooding on ..Kegs..; the EP keeps to the same brew of blazing drums and distorted guitar clunk throughout. Last track ..Gunner..βs rapid β1,2,3,4β opening, slaps the band into filth overdrive, then slams the EP to its end, in under 6 minutes. This is a compact, controlled slab of what Holy Mountain do, be sure to watch it unravel live." From Subcity.org "For the uninitiated, this doom 'n' roll two-piece have been shaking loose light fixtures and teeth to fervent reactions for the last four months. Stories of multiple shows in one night and performances in vans winding through city centres are already passing into folklore. Though this EP doesn't quite capture the thunderous spectacle, it provides useful insight into the nature of Holy Mountain. Walls of guitar collapse onto the scattered rubble of drums, both frantic and precise. Tempos undulate from treacle slow to torrential. With a bit of production behind them, there's a monster here just waiting to get out."
