The opening feedback of first track ..Jesus.. spills over into a rabid stomp, that throws itself into a swift, stomach-punch ending. Although, it gets a bit more sludgy and brooding on ..Kegs..; the EP keeps to the same brew of blazing drums and distorted guitar clunk throughout. Last track ..Gunner..’s rapid “1,2,3,4” opening, slaps the band into filth overdrive, then slams the EP to its end, in under 6 minutes. This is a compact, controlled slab of what Holy Mountain do, be sure to watch it unravel live." Though this EP doesn't quite capture the thunderous spectacle, it provides useful insight into the nature of Holy Mountain.
