High Maintenance is the second extended play (EP) by American actress and singer Miranda Cosgrove, released on March 15, 2011, through Columbia and Epic Records. The EP features five tracks and showcases a pop and electropop sound, marking a maturation from her earlier teen pop style. The lead single, “Dancing Crazy,” co-written by Avril Lavigne and produced by Max Martin and Shellback, peaked at number 100 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States. The title track, “High Maintenance,” is a duet with Rivers Cuomo of Weezer. The EP received mixed to positive reviews, with critics noting its more adult sound compared to Cosgrove’s previous work. To promote the EP, Cosgrove embarked on the “Dancing Crazy Tour,” performing in various venues and making appearances on television shows such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
