“Hereditary” is the fourth studio-album by the pop-punk recording artist Cassadee Pope. It was released on July 12th, 2024, through Awake Music. Previous to this release, Cassadee announced a formal departure from country music, as she felt the community was rigid and unwelcoming. She fully returned to her pop-punk roots with the lead single from this project, “People That I Love Leave”.
