Album
"Greatest Days" was released in May 2009. Shortly after its release, the band was named the "Unsigned Find" for 2009 by the largest rock music station in Australia, Triple M. The band entered their song, "Singing in the Rain", to win the competition. "Greatest Days" is Nil By Mouth's most adventurous and best work to date. The record was produced by Lamar Lowder (Yothu Yindi, Jerk and Powerman 5000) and recorded at Albert Studios (Midnight Oil, The Living End, Neil Finn). Greatest Days is punchy and loud, but is very focused on clear melodies and sweet harmonies. The record features 5 guest musicians including brass, violin and harmonica, and along with some grand piano and wall-to-wall Vox and Marshall amps, it sounds huge.
