Tim Culling is a Los Angeles based singer, songwriter and musician whose music is a confluence of American roots and British flavored alt-rock. “Tim Culling is one talented singer/songwriter, with a knack for memorable melodic hooks. And his hooks may haunt you – in a good way, that is – long after his songs have reached their conclusion.” -Dan Macintosh, Indie-Music.com magazine His new 7 song EP, follow-up to his 2008 release “Ghost,” is titled “Goodbye Western Sun.” It was recorded with the same team as “Ghost,” with engineer Tommy Dietrick and drummer Joel Patterson both of Los Angeles band Sky Parade. The songs on “Goodbye Western Sun” are influenced by 60’s soul and alt country, drenched with Wurlitzers and organs, which give it a warm, slick vibe. All songs on the EP were recorded in the winter of 2010 at Skylab Studios in Encino, California.
