GOLDEN is the debut solo studio album by South Korean singer Jung Kook, a member of the K-pop sensation group BTS, released on November 3, 2023, through Big Hit Entertainment. On July 14, three months before, "Seven", featuring American rapper Latto, was released as the first single of the album. It debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and achieved 35.4 million views on YouTube on its first day. It also debuted at #1 on Spotify Global with 15.9 million streams. On September 29, "3D", featuring American rapper Jack Harlow, was released as the album's second single. It debuted and peaked at #5 on the Hot 100, achieved 12.49 million views, and debuted at #3 (peaking at #1) on Spotify Global with 6.32 million streams. A remix featuring singer Justin Timberlake was released on November 24. "Standing Next to You" was released alongside the album as its third single. It gained 11.42 million views, and debuted at #2 (peaking at #1) on Spotify Global with 6.47 million streams. In December, a remix featuring singer Usher was released alongside a performance video starring both artists. GOLDEN also includes collaborations with Major Lazer and DJ Snake, and features songwriting credits by Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes.
