GAULTIER (pronounced Gaul-tee-ay) is the title for tana’s debut studio album, released on January 27, 2023 through Galactic Records. The album, is a versatile feast, serving up a tantalizing array of musical flavors. The album opens with “y,” a track that sets the tone for the album with its vocals and fiery energy. As the album progresses, listeners will be treated to a jumble of different sounds, from the lush and melodic R&B vibes of “hills @ night” and “hope you feel the same” back to the hard-hitting trap beat of “hell nah.” The production on the album is crafted from producers like Internet Money’s own Paryo, PinkGrillz, and it’s founder, Taz Taylor. Fans can also hear re-done production on previously released tracks like “archive” and “fear no man,” as well as the sequel track “hell nah” reversing the melody of its predecessor “hell yeah” making it a unique listening experience. The album was first teased first back on November 12, 2021, when tana posted on his secondary Instagram account that rapper Marrgielaa has heard the album.
